For Canadian owners, a new recall has been announced. Not sure about the US yet.
New recall includes models manufactured between March and November 2024. (Previous one had an earlier cutoff.)

Same! …minus the recalls. But hey, my wife’s currently in a rental due to her non-EV being in the shop for a recall, so. Let’s not act like this is an EV thing. Heh

It’s an industry thing, not specifically to EVs, I know. I just got the car and I’m trying to enjoy it, dang it! I’d rather a recall/fix than to deal with potential issues, though. Usually there is a class action too, heh…

I think that this is just to get you to visit. Otherwise they would never see you. They will find something to charge you for.
SC327 is the US-equivalent.
Checked my VIN on KIA and it’s included. Said they would mail out the notification but there’s a postal strike so…

UK has already had it. Mine still failed 8 weeks after the recall!

Mine had the software update, a couple of months ago. Failed on the M6 going South, speed went from 70 mph in lane 3 of 4 to 20mph. I was probably a very lucky guy to stay alive that day. ICCU and fuse needed replacement.

Lol. I don’t think I’m exempt from the recall. I’ve had to do all the previous ones. I just think it hasn’t been added yet but hey one can hope

Same as you, I’ve had all the previous ones done as well. I wonder if they haven’t caught up yet or if the fact that the previous ones were done exempt you from this one. Usually, if Transport Canada lists the recall, I expect Kia Canada to be up to date. Who knows.
