I am Embarrassed here… I curbed my wheel, and it’s not looking good. Does anyone know of any products or fixes that work?
I got a wheel & tire plan, honestly for situations just like this. I’ve scraped the front right wheel once, and the rest of the damage usually happens from valet drivers and service people. Your service advisor might know a good “wheel guy” they use for this. Trust me, they have one!
@Toryn
How much did that set you back? I got a package that covers curbed rims, dings, and windshield damage, which cost me $5700 for the lease term.

I think mine was around $1200. It has paid off though – two tires and several wheel fixes. Your package is pricey, but with the windshield coverage, I get it. I had to replace my windshield once, and it cost me $3200.
Did the exact same thing recently, and it wasn’t even a tight turn. I guess I just wasn’t careful enough.
If you’re in LA, call Dr Wheel. With a coupon, it’s around $125 for one rim, and they come to you. They fixed two of our rims in no time – the car looked brand new.

Wish I was closer to LA!
@Arlo
They do mobile repairs; maybe they’d come to your area!
Quick question… are all Porsche rotors supposed to have a mirrored finish?
That’s gotta hurt!
A lot of places do wheel restoration, typically around $150 per wheel. Worth checking into.

Seems like a good option! I was hoping for a quick DIY fix, though.
Hey, if you don’t want them anymore, I’ll take those wheels off your hands!

What would I even do with just three wheels? Lol

Good point! I’ll take the whole car if you want to offload it… sounds like it’s had a rough time!

Haha, I’d gladly take all four! Those wheels are great looking.
Ouch, that’s rough!
Haha, I can literally see your toes reflecting in the rotors!
Had a similar problem. Porsche charged me $275 to repair and repaint it.
Did you have the auto-stop sensor turned off? Mine never lets me get close to a curb – it’s helpful, but annoying sometimes!
