Did you have the auto-stop sensor turned off? Mine never lets me get close to a curb – it’s helpful, but annoying sometimes!
Not sure if I even have that. Do you know how to turn it on or off?

@Arlo
It’s like a proximity warning. If you do have it, you’ll know because it scares you half to death when it activates!
If you’re near Austin, I know a great mobile repair guy.
In a similar boat… Anyone tried WheelsOnSite for mobile wheel repair? Are they worth it?
Mission E wheels are kind of magnets for curbs! I’ve done it a few times, too. Each time, it’s cost me around $250, but the wheels looked new again. I might just make it part of my car’s yearly upkeep.
Check out Alloy Wheel Repair for specialists by zip code: https://www.awrswheelrepair.com/wheel-repair-locations/. And for those in New England, https://rimpro.com/ is great. I used them back when I lived in MA.
I got a wheel and tire plan for my wheels too. Minor damage on three wheels so far – it took ages to find someone to fix it because of the two-color design. Even my Porsche dealer’s wheel shop couldn’t handle it! Eventually found a mobile service that did an okay job, but it could be better. Not getting two-color wheels next time.
@Blayne
Wait, Porsche couldn’t fix it, even with the wheel and tire plan?

Nope. It’s a separate insurance product. They just sell it, get a commission, and leave the claim handling to the insurance. Check the fine print on your policy to be sure.
If you’re in Northern VA, try Tabula Rasa on Lee Highway.
My Taycan has been a curb magnet, too. No idea why it happens so often with this car.
Haha, I call those “wifed” wheels when it happens on my car.
