I want to buy a 4s but I’m having a hard time picking the right year. The 2025 model is around £105k, the 2024 model is about £80k, and the 2023 model, which is technically a 2022, is priced around £65k. What do you all think?
I’d suggest the 2025 for the extra range it offers
I prefer the look of the 23 and 24, but the 25 definitely gives you better range. Personally, I’d go for a used 23 since it’s more affordable.

Is there really any big difference between the 23 and 24? I can’t see one.
@Paxton
That’s what I’m wondering too about the 23 and 24. I’ve heard that the 25 has a lot better range and some cosmetic updates.

Right? The 25 does have better range, but is it worth spending an extra 20% or even 35% more than the 23? The differences between the 23 and 24 seem minor at best. Maybe getting a low mileage 23 is the way to go?
@Paxton
The only changes are the battery and the headlights. With the 25, you get about 100 kms more range.
The 2025 has active ride, which sounds really impressive, but I haven’t tried it myself yet.
Why not save £40k and just go with the 2022?
Where did you find a 2023 4s for £65k? I’m curious.
If you can swing it, go for the second gen. The range difference is definitely something to consider.
