Honestly, I love the drive of the i4 e40 and how quiet it is. Also I think the battery is as good as or better than my Tesla long range M3. But I do feel the BMW map and charging integration are worse. Also, I think the Spotify played with CarPlay skips and pauses a lot. I can do without the self driving, but I do think the Spotify app and map was much easier to use on the Tesla. BMW could easily fix this. Thanks

My app offered me to do an update, yet it’s the version now installed.

It downloaded everything. It’s unfortunate to learn that there is a fresh one that wasn’t grabbed.

BMW claims that upgrades only bring about “function updates and improved quality,” never causing any appreciable changes. It is imperative that they improve the release notes and keep users from learning which bug fixes were actually implemented.
