I just got a Chevy Bolt EUV. What’s a good miles per kilowatt-hour (miles/kWh) for it?
The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV has undertaken range tests, and the results reveal information about its efficiency. During the InsideEVs 70-mph range test, the Bolt EUV had an average efficiency of 3.6 miles per kilowatt-hour. This corresponds to about 17.2 kWh per 100 km. Keep in mind that actual efficiency varies depending on driving conditions, topography, and personal driving habits.
Furthermore, the EPA estimates that the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV will go 247 miles on a full charge, equating to 29 kWh per 100 miles of driving.
I get better numbers when I maintain a speed of 65 mph or less. With 24,065 miles on it, my 2020 has a lifetime efficiency of 3.6 miles per kWh. I usually travel between 70 and 75 mph and don’t focus on maintaining my efficiency.
Once it warms up, it is realistic.
