Really like the new color choice from the person who posted this.
Sending good vibes to you, your wife, and family.
Green was my mom’s favorite too, and I regret not going for that Deep Forest green myself.
Nice of you to bring some joy to her in these hard times.

Thanks, I’m doing my best, but it’s tough with everything she’s dealing with.

Totally understand.
With everything she’s facing, it’s a lot.
I bet she notices and appreciates all the little things you’re doing.
Did you add RGB lights to the puddle lights? How do you switch the colors?
Looks awesome (also, thinking of you and your wife).

The light on it is actually from the charging station lights, which reflected really well.
It looks different under various lighting.
I’m seriously considering changing the puddle lights though! That’s a great idea.
I wrapped mine in a purple-to-green shift color. Love how yours looks .

Thanks, mine is a matte instead of gloss since the original color is matte steel.
I’ll check with the team who did it to find out the wrap brand for anyone curious.

I’m really sorry to hear about your wife’s health. Just know I’m thinking of you and sending support to you and your family.
This kind of work is awesome. And it’s really thoughtful.

Thanks, she usually dislikes surprises… except this one.
Next time, though, no surprise mattress replacement! That did not go over well.
Anything that makes her smile is worth it.

She’s from the east coast of the US, so if it can make her smile, it’s a win!
Any tips from fellow Americans are welcome (besides the obvious ones).

Maybe make her favourite dish—if you can pull it off!
Some time to just cuddle, no agenda.
A bubble bath for two.
Or just talk and listen to whatever’s on her mind.

Thanks for the advice!
She doesn’t like baths, and her diet’s very limited due to kidney issues.
But I can manage the other two. Really appreciate it, I’m having a hard time.
@Sky
I can only imagine. You’re doing all you can, and that counts. Sometimes just being there is what matters most.

Does she have a card game she enjoys? My wife loved Euchre, cribbage, rummy, and puzzle books.
Maybe she’d enjoy spending time with you more than surprises. Do you know her love language? Here’s a rundown:
- Touch: a foot rub or lying beside her.
- Quality time: card game or dinner together, even if it’s light.
- Gifts: something meaningful just for her.
- Words of encouragement: remind her you love her.
- Acts of service: fix something she needs done or grab her favorite treat.
Looks nice. I’d love a bit more purple in it, though.

In daylight, it’s mostly purple, but under headlights, it’s more of a glittery green.
