Aside from test driving and checking out the specs, I am curious about where to find expert opinions on various EVs. I am looking for insights into things like build quality, safety features, durability, and real-world performance over time stuff that doesn’t always come through in a short test drive.
What are some of the best websites, YouTubers, or writers that provide solid reviews for the latest EV models in the US?
Hey… for solid EV reviews, check out InsideEVs and Electrek for in-depth articles. YouTube channels like Fully Charged and Bjørn Nyland offer honest takes on real-world performance. I’ve found them super helpful for getting the lowdown on build quality and long-term durability.
Alex’s article on cars (EV buying guide). Nobody even approaches. In the video, he says a ton of information in each sentence. He also has a long-term fleet of EVs and has owned several in the past. He is incredibly well-versed in EV technology. Some of his reviews and videos are just mind-blowing for the nerds. The majority of other critics are performers, therefore they might examine the characteristics, etc. Alex, though, keeps his distance from them. Another expert in the industry is Kyle from out of spec evaluations, albeit some of his videos are overly lengthy. It is advised if you have sufficient time.
