Thinking about getting another car soon. Trying to choose between looking for an ID.4 or buying an available XC40 Recharge. The XC40 has a nicer inside and buttons you can touch, which I like. But it can’t go as far on one charge and doesn’t hold as much stuff, especially considering it’s $15k more. Since it’s just a second car, I won’t use it every day, so there’s time to charge it. I don’t care much about how fast it goes, I just want it to get me places. Any other stuff I should think about?
The ID.4 usually offers a longer range per charge, which could be handy if you plan longer trips occasionally. The XC40 Recharge does have a plush interior and tactile buttons that give it a more traditional feel, which I appreciate too. Since it’s your second car and won’t be used daily, charging time might not be a big deal, but it’s worth checking out the local charging options just in case. Also, consider things like maintenance costs and any additional features that might suit your lifestyle, like advanced safety tech or connectivity options. Ultimately, test driving both could really help you decide based on how they feel on the road and what fits your needs best.
Hello everyone, these are the differences in payload and towing capacities:

The capacity to tow: The maximum weight a truck can tow while accounting for its own weight as well as any cargo
The maximum weight that a truck can carry is known as its payload capacity.
The towing capacity of a truck is the amount of weight it can pull behind it.
Consideration of Weight:
The payload capacity of a truck includes weight added to its cargo area.
Towing Capacity: This is the total weight of the truck plus any payload it is transporting.
