Standard Time gang checking in. My suggestion is to split the difference by 30 minutes and be done with it.

Only crazy people want it to be dark at 4:30PM. Crazy. People.

Keep the change! It sucks once a year in the spring. Fall is a free sleep-in day. Easy price to pay for optimal sunlight in the summer and winter.

It is insane that this is necessary.
It’s insane that we’re still observing DST. It should have gone away when “door-to-door” milk delivery did.
I’ve actually been considering using that service since it’s still offered. Creamer/eggs/milk/sometimes meat delivered from some of the nearby farms.

It’s likely to accommodate the places in the United States that don’t observe DST, like Arizona and Hawaii.

A toggle is not required to accommodate that.

It’s the only clock in my life that needs to be changed manually.
Even though I have adjust time automatically enabled?

Correct, you’ll notice it’s off by an hour.
Good thing I live in Arizona and don’t have to change my clocks then.

A grim reminder of Nazi Germany.
Wrong. It’s now the time of year when my clock becomes correct again.
Hyundai made it very easy. I double tapped the clock, then unchecked the box for DST. Done.
There is talks to ditch DST in Canada (on provincial or federal level). Hope we do. Saskatchewan and the Yukon don’t observe DST.
And if it keeps reverting after you try to change it, make sure you change the settings in the other driver profiles before turning off the car.
It can update software OTA, but update time? Nope. Make it make sense.
I love this car, but the fact that this has to be done manually is so bonkers. How is it “automatically” determining the time but can’t determine DST status?
