Thinking of Selling Your Taycan … What Comes Next?

I’m tempted by the Lotus Emiras. It’s hard thinking about going back to an ICE car for daily use, though, as they aren’t exactly pet-friendly.

The Emira looks fantastic, but I’m not going back to ICE either.

Has anyone seen an EV Lotus in person yet? I was thinking about getting one after a while if the Porsche continues to depreciate. What about the Eletre or the Emira? Also, how would the lack of a local dealer impact maintenance?

@Shawn
The Evija, their EV hypercar, is in a different league, but they might be working on something more affordable.

@Shawn
I’ve driven the SUV version and it’s impressive, very quick and well-equipped.

What’s it like in person, both inside and out? If your Taycan was no longer available, would you consider one?

I’m looking for a larger SUV. The iX has caught my eye—not the prettiest, but its performance and comfort are top-notch for the price. Plus, the sound system and tech are better than the Taycan’s.

Not a fan of the iX’s looks, but it’s not bad in all-black.

@Ben
Yeah, the base model looks pretty basic, but a blacked-out M60 version looks pretty sleek.

The iX really is the best EV I’ve driven. It’s incredibly quiet inside, and the legroom is amazing.

@Nova
I’m holding off for the iX M70 next year. It should have even more to offer.

Didn’t know about the M70 coming out. That’s exciting!

Yeah, they’re making a few updates. More power, better range—you name it.

@Caden
That’s awesome. Also, you wouldn’t believe the variety of EVs they have here in Thailand that we don’t get back home.

I’m hoping for a two-door option in the future. Maybe a Cayman EV?

They’re planning to release the electric Boxster next year, so a Cayman isn’t far behind.

I’m really hoping for the Cayman EV soon. Porsche seems to be delaying their electric models a bit though.

I’d go for a Bentley Continental GT next.

I might stick with the Taycan, considering how much the value drops.

Next up would be a 911 or 718 GTS for me.

Has anyone here considered the Lucid Saphire?
