Picked up my Ioniq5 Sel, but no charger came with the car? 52k, no charger!
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced level 1 charger in the US?

We bought my wife’s I5 in August, and even though Hyundai advertises a Level 1 charger included, the dealer refused to provide one. The dealership manager was quite unpleasant about it. If you’re in the Denver area, I’d suggest avoiding McDonald Hyundai.
@Rin
I’d recommend Planet Hyundai instead.
@Rin
I got one with my Limited from Schomp Hyundai. Emily there was a great help for anyone local.
Chargers are considered an accessory. If it’s not listed on the window sticker, it’s not included.

I thought all models came with level one chargers. I found a Hyundai branded one wrapped in my car. Maybe check back with your dealer, given you just bought a $52K car.
@Winter
From MY24 only the Limited has it. It’s been a well-known change for months. It surprises me how often this catches buyers off guard.

Both sides have a point here. Buyers should know what they’re getting, but it feels a bit unfair to not include something as essential as a basic charger, especially when suitable public charging isn’t as accessible as gas stations.

My 2023 limited didn’t have one either.
@Tory
That’s odd, mine did. I hardly use it though.
I use a Vevor level 1 charger but mostly charge for free.
Consider a dual voltage charger for flexibility. More expensive than just a Level 1 but useful for road trips too.

Consider the Grizzl-e Mini Connect 40A. It comes with a full-length cable, four adapters, and a three-year warranty. It’s durable and weatherproof.
We mostly use a Level 1 charger at home and it came with our car. It adjusts from 12 amps down to 4 if needed. Surprised they stopped including it.

Level 2 charging is more cost-effective than Level 1 in the long run.
@Rory
I’m curious about the cost difference for Level 2 charging at higher voltages and amperages. Does anyone have the figures?
