I’ve been driving a Niro EV for about two months and love it. It’s way better than the Kona EV and more fun and smooth than the Model 3 I tested. When I visited Kia, I saw the EV6, but it’s smaller and lower than I expected. I like the size of the Niro, but I’m not thrilled with the 2024 refresh. I’m leaning toward the Niro but considering the EV6 for its tech and design. I dislike the Ioniq 5’s exterior. Next week, I’m test-driving the Volvo C40. Any thoughts on what to choose for 2024?
If you’ve got the cash for an EV6, just go for it. It’s a great choice. But if you’re trying to save some bucks, the Niro is the way to go. Both are solid, but the EV6 offers more features and better performance. The Niro is still a good ride and more wallet-friendly. So, it really comes down to how much you’re willing to spend.

This is my Niro and my EV6. The EV6 is better than the Niro in almost every way. It charges faster, is quieter, more comfortable, has more space, and the DC charging speeds are (usually) crazy fast.
