Kia Ev6 lease special

A dealership is offering me a new EV6 GT-line RWD lease with terms of 24 months/10k miles per year for $5k down and $199/month.

This deal seems too good to pass up am I overlooking something?

That does sound like a great deal. But as you are already celebrating the deal, note the following:

  • The lease is for 10,000 miles per year. If you exceed this limit, you might incur additional charges per mile.
  • The $5,000 down payment is a significant upfront cost. Make sure this fits within your budget.
  • Check if the monthly payment includes all fees and taxes. Sometimes, these can add up and increase your overall cost.
  • Check lease-end costs. At the end of the lease, you might have to pay for any excess wear and tear or damage to the vehicle.

That $5,000 down payment results in a $410 lease, plus tax. It’s decent, though not exceptional.

The federal credit and dealer discounts are making EV leases quite attractive. I recently got a Nissan Leaf (with a $47k MSRP) for $260 all-in.
