Is the Chang Li S1 Pro available in Mexico?

Hey everyone, I’ve noticed a lot of talk online in Latin America about the Chang Li S1 EV. People are especially interested in its price, which is about $1000 in US dollars.

From what I’ve gathered, it seems like the car doesn’t have many safety features, can only be charged at level 1, and doesn’t have a long range or high speed. But despite these drawbacks, many people are really excited about it.

Does anyone know more about this tiny car? What do you think of it?

Not even in China, where they are unable to obtain a license plate, are these cars allowed for the road! Due of their legal ambiguity, they are primarily utilized by elderly or retired individuals for errand and grocery runs in suburban or rural areas. Although it is helpful in these situations, driving it on regular roads, much less a freeway, is exceedingly risky and careless.

Reviews from a variety of individuals who have successfully imported Changlis are available. In the US, the entire cost rises to $8,000.

They are not street legal and have a top speed of 25 mph. These resemble ranch utility vehicles or golf carts more.
