I’m having trouble with the TPMS in my car. How do I reset it?
Fill the tires to 36psi, then drive. The system will figure it out.
I put 36 psi in all four of mine and it reset automatically
I have this exact same issue on my 2024 PHEV. Front driver’s tire flagged at 32 and should be 36. You’re now the third post I’ve seen about it not resetting as it should.

I had this problem with my 2018 HEV. I found that if I slightly overinflated the tires to 37, the light would go off. The guys at Tires Plus said they’d never seen such a sensitive TPMS system.
@Lin
Hey thanks for this - I overinflated by 2 psi and seems to have cleared the error
@Lin
Nice one, thank you - I booked it in the dealership but might try this tomorrow
@Lin
Kia recommends 35. I do 33 in summer and while driving get 35, and in winter, 35

I don’t know about later years, but the doorplate on the B pillar of my 2023 Niro SX definitely says 36 psi.
@Mackenzie
When I do 36 on it’s Michelin eprimacy, it’s like driving on solid rubber. I can feel all the texture of the road, going softer. Makes a huge difference, in my opinion.

It does reset, but you have to fill them up to full before it will; it will not reset itself if it drops below the threshold and then comes back up, unless it’s all the way filled up.
No need to reset it. It will reset automatically.

Sometimes resetting takes a little longer; you might need to wait a bit longer after inflating.

Mine did. You have to put 36 psi, not 32.

32 is the threshold to set the warning (4psi). You’ll need to inflate to specified pressure (36psi) in cold temp. If the tires are warm (after driving 3 miles or more), add up to 4psi. But the light won’t reset until it sees at least 36psi.

Go to 37 psi on all tires, it’ll go away.
Mine resets when the tire reads 36psi. It won’t go away even if it’s 35.
Fill up the tires and then drive 50+ mph for a little while. It usually turns off for me when I do that.
31 is not low psi?

It will be even lower in December too.
