Did anyone spot the Dodge Charger Daytona EV and Jeep Wagoneer S testing in PA

True, but it’s much slower than a Model S. The issue is that the ‘muscle car’ EV isn’t the fastest option. That’s what Dodge and Mopar fans expect.

This muscle car EV isn’t the top version of this car. When Dodge goes all out, you’ll see. Like their 1000+ horsepower ICE vehicles. The Banshee trim will be on their 800-volt system, so I expect that one to be really fast.

@Kenan
800 volts? When NACS becomes standard, charging will take ages.

Once NACS is common, there will be V4 superchargers that can handle 800-volt systems. But I’m confused why we’re discussing this when we were just talking about a crazy trim for this car.

The wheels are too small, giving off a cheap base model vibe. Plus, it’s frustrating knowing it’s slower than a five-year-old Model 3 Performance, which you can find for under 30k now.

The Scat Pack should be a bit faster than a Model 3 Performance. I think Dodge is launching the mid-tier models first and will introduce a faster version later. That seems like a good strategy since lower-end models usually don’t sell well.

@Jalen
Dodge claims the Scat Pack can do 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, while the Model 3 Performance is at 3.1 seconds.
