Hello, I’m thinking of getting a Polestar 2. The 2024 models come with a CCS port. Is it true that using Tesla chargers need a NACS adaptor and that carrying a ChaDeMO adapter is necessary? How does J1772 charging work? I’m really perplexed.
There’s no such thing as a “ChaDeMO power bank.” If you want to charge your phone or laptop on the go, you need a traditional power bank. To charge an electric vehicle, you’ll need a ChaDeMO charger connected to a reliable power source.

Yep, the Polestar 2 does have a CCS port, so for Tesla chargers, you’ll need a NACS adapter. As for the ChaDeMO adapter, it’s not really necessary unless you plan on using older chargers. The J1772 is super simple—just plug it into the car, and you’re good to go. I was confused at first too, but it’s actually easier than it sounds.
