Do these chargers have the MagicDock built in? I heard you need to hold the latch button for 2 seconds for it to attach. Or do you need to bring your own dock? There are always Superchargers when the regular DC charger is in use.

They have the MagicDock built in. You push the NACS cable into the adapter, and it locks. Then, the adapter releases from the charger, and you can plug it into your car. That’s how I’ve seen it done in YouTube videos.
Is MagicDock a specific charger or just an adapter you need to carry?

MagicDock chargers come with a built-in CCS adapter.
I’m not defending Tesla, but commercial DC fast chargers are expensive to install and maintain. Then, there’s the profit margin. It often costs more than gasoline to charge, but it will be nice to have access to more chargers soon.
