0-100 time measured in years is not okay… 12.3s is fine for a little run-around. (It’s 70kW/95hp, not 70hp).

Yeah, my hybrid does it in 11s and drives great.

95hp nowadays is disappointing. Also, 12.3 seconds is too slow. It’s 2.3 seconds slower than a Gen 4 Prius. I’ve driven a Gen 4 Prius in Auckland (which is probably slower than most Aussie cities) for a few years. It’s fine most of the time, but it struggles on hills or when a car is tailgating. I’ve also driven various Yaris/Vitz models, which have similar output to the base Dolphin. The Dolphin feels decent, but it’s still not ideal when faced with a quicker vehicle.

Aussie cities, like Melbourne, don’t require high power. Traffic often feels like peak hour.

95hp today is sad… The Prius C in North America had under 100hp.

What’s your point? The Prius C came out a decade ago. People generally saw it as the slowest car around. It didn’t need an on-ramp; it needed a full-length runway to get up to highway speeds.

@Toby
It was a very practical city car.
