So here’s a question… are replacement ICCUs still requiring software updates or what’s the deal with that? I got an ICCU replacement and now my level 2 charging is throttled again.
Did you guys receive any notification on this recall? Mine was manufactured in Jan 2024 and have not seen anything. Not even if I put the VIN in the NHTSA site or the KIA portal.

Same build date Jan 2024 I got the car in May and that week got the SC302 they inspected the ICCU said it was good and did the software update. I had no issues the week before updating and none since. I check the Kia portal with VIN says no recalls pending same for KIA connect app no recalls so I’m not doing anything until it pops up, car running fine in the meantime.
I took mine in last week. I showed the HV system was draining about 5%/week and it seemed like an ICCU issue. Technician agreed, decided it needed an ICCU replacement. This week, another diag was done and just a SW update was done to complete SC327 service.
I drove the car for a few hours, charged back up to 100%. Car drained about 2% over 12 hours after charging to 100%. When I went to start it, I got a ‘check 12V system’ error for the first time. The 12V battery was at around 8 V.
I was able to get the car running by using a jump pack.
It seems like the update fixed some problems, but the 12V battery is bad. The car is now at the dealership for the 12V battery replacement and another check. After the 12V battery is replaced, I’ll have them look at the ICCU again.
