Anyone else’s electrical system acting up after switching to lithium?

I recently switched my cart to a lithium battery, and now nothing works—horn, turn signals, lights. Left side was already acting up before the switch, but now it’s totally dead. Anyone else run into this? Not sure if it’s just bad luck or something bigger.

Yeah, that’s strange. Did you check the voltage coming out of the reducer? Could be a problem there.

Yeah, getting 12V from the reducer, but still no lights, horn, or anything. Thought it might be the bulbs, but they’re all out. What are the chances of that?

@Drew
Hmm, sounds like more than just the bulbs then. Did you check if the voltage is reaching the lights?

@Drew
What’s a voltage reducer? I’m kinda new to this stuff lol.

Oh, it’s a device that reduces voltage from 48V to 12V for stuff like lights and accessories. No worries, we all start somewhere!

Had something similar with my cart. Turned out to be a wiring issue. Have you checked for any loose connections?

I haven’t yet, but I’ll take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.

You might want to check the solenoid voltage too. Could be the issue if it’s not closing properly.

Yeah, I’m getting 48V at the solenoid, so it’s not that. Just frustrating not knowing where the problem is.

If you’ve checked all the fuses and wires, it might be worth getting a mechanic to take a look. Sometimes it’s easier to have someone with more experience diagnose it.

Might have to do that if I can’t figure it out soon. Thanks for the advice!
