Why am I always late to these threads? Guess better late than never.

We may be few, but we are proud! By the way, how do you know if someone has a Yacht Blue EV6 GT? They’ll tell you!
I’m surprised you didn’t go for the Ioniq 5N. I’ve seen them priced around the low 50s near me, which seems like a great deal.

I’d have considered it if I could find one that cheap. They’re going for almost $70k around me, so this was a much better deal at just over half the price.
@Yan
The GTs are offering great value now. The 5N is cooler and faster, but not enough to justify the $30k difference.

I agree with you there.
@Yan
I still think the GT is only about 60-65% of the performance of the 5N, but that’s good enough for most people. I can’t really fault you for choosing the GT.

Sorry for the question, but what makes the 5N performance so much better? I thought the GT and 5N were pretty similar.
@Reagan
The 5N has better suspension, handling, wheels, tires, brakes, battery, motors, and more. On the street, they’re similar, but on a track, the 5N is far better. I’ve had my EV6 GT on the track a lot, and you can really feel the difference.
@Pax
That’s true. In the U.S., we don’t get some of the features that come with the I5N, like a heads-up display or rear heated seats. But the 5N is better for track use for sure.

True. You lose some features like the sunroof, but you gain ventilated front seats and wireless Android Auto. I didn’t notice the HUD when I drove the I5N, but that’s a letdown.
@Pax
Doesn’t the GT come with ventilated front seats? My 22 Wind model did.

Nope, the GT has manual, heated seats.

Where are you seeing Ioniq 5N in the low 50s? That sounds like a great deal.
@Jaden
Two dealerships in northwestern NJ had it for $54,500. Used ones with less than 10k miles were going for the mid 40s.

Wow, I haven’t seen those prices when I checked Autotrader.
@Jaden
Are you searching nationally? The ones I saw were in less EV-focused areas, where people buy the Ioniq 5N for performance but end up selling it because of charging issues.
