I’ve noticed a lot of people encouraging buying used cars. But are there any real differences among the different model years from 2020 to 2024? I’ve heard to skip 2020, but what about the others?
I have a 2020 model with 36k miles and I’ve never faced any issues.
Not sure why people suggest skipping 2020.

I’d say the best year is the latest one, mainly because they have a newer battery.
Some have said that the 2023 model has a slightly updated battery chemistry, but maybe that’s more beneficial for LG than for us.

I’m in the same boat, lol.

What’s the actual mileage you get on your 2020 model?
My 2020 4S has never had issues besides the recalls. It’s up to date with the latest software just like the newer models. The only thing my 2020 lacks is the app locking feature. Everything else is the same up to 2024.

I get about 85% at 220/225 and 100% at 250/260.
I think 2023 is probably the best option for your money.

I think the late 2021 models and newer have Plug & Charge.

That’s a big deal for me. But for 5k-10k, I wouldn’t pass on a 2020, especially if it’s certified pre-owned.
'22 and newer models have wireless Android Auto, which is minor but handy if that’s your preference.

My 2020 Turbo has that too. There was a software update a while ago.
@Ashby
I’ve had several audio updates for my 4S in the past few months as well.
