I flew to Arizona for a wedding in Sedona, but I own a Tesla. I booked a Bolt EV because Hertz is now renting out EVs.
Given that the vacation is short just for three days which charging choices are the most practical?
Except for the jog to Sedona, I will probably remain quite close to 17.
Hello Rodgers, * Hotel or Accommodation Charging:
- Check Availability: Many hotels in tourist areas now offer EV charging.
- Level 2 Charging: Ideal for overnight stays; slower than DC fast charging but adequate for short stays.
- Public Charging Stations:
- EVgo and Electrify America: These networks are expanding in Arizona; use their apps to find nearby stations.
- Destination Chargers: Look for charging stations at restaurants, shopping centers, and other public places.
- Tesla Destination Chargers (with Adapter):
- Limited Availability: Not as common as Superchargers; use a CCS Combo 1 adapter for your Bolt.
