This New update makes seat heat and ventilation way more sensible

Hyundai are now able to use the now useless warmer button to preheat the battery manually before charging.

This is scaring me out. Was the warmer button there before? The reason I am asking that question is because of the reason that I only saw it a couple of weeks ago, after a whole 10k miles. I normally use the seat heater all the time for my back and was going all through the menus every time. Now that I have discovered that, it is great, but I can’t believe it has been there all the time in my car.

It is still stupid of Hyundai that you need to press the “WARMER” button to cool down the seats.

Maybe “SEATS” would have been the appropriate label for that button.

This design is without lie very terrible. Looks like some kid put it together. From a visual point of view, quite a downgrade.

But my guess is it is faster than before.

Anyway, I have one question to ask: above the “A/C” button there is a round button. What is the button supposed to do?

To answer your question, the button opens the same overlay as what would have opened if you were to press the illusive “warmer” button.

In addition, I seem to be the only one who preferred the old layout. Oh, I can’t have everything, I still have to get my now 3-month defective ICCU fixed. The Hyundai service is the worst.

As a Hyundai fan, I am actually impressed with the update. The climate/warmer stuff is much better organized and makes more sense to me now.

It is a nice design setup because it is a bit similar to the backseat display in an airplane

I feel like the guys need to make things bigger though to minimize screen time when driving.

I don’t like this upgrade because it currently requires more display presses than before. The slider felt more intuitive.

This is great and without a doubt, I am excited for when my car decides to install it.

But the fact is that Hyundai needs to hire some UI designers though. This looks like stuff I could make in Photoshop when I was in high school.

If I may ask: When you press the “Warmer” button while in AA/Car play, does it overlay over the current page? Or rather does it take you to an entirely new screen?

It opens in a new screen but it takes you back to CarPlay after hitting close. So without lying it is a good improvement.
