Thinking about leasing an EV6... Is it a good idea?

Where did you get that quote from? I’m in the same situation, looking to lease an EV6 but haven’t contacted any dealers yet.

A dealership in North Texas.

Thanks! Which model are you looking at?

@Peyton
This is for the Light Long Range. I’m just looking for a commuter car.

Do it

That’s a much better deal than I got last week in CA. Go for it.

Ask them for the selling price (the discounted price) of the EV6 used in the lease calculation, excluding the lease cash from Kia Finance. I think most or all of the $17,200 in savings is from the lease cash. The actual selling price of the car should be discounted by several thousand dollars to make this a great deal.

Why does this matter? The selling price is part of the lease payment calculation, and in a lease, you’re essentially financing the difference between the car’s cost and its residual value.

NC and SC don’t have deals like this yet. If a few 2024s make it to 2025 on the lot, maybe the incentives will be better. I’m trying to find a deal like yours. I just keep sharing them with dealers, hoping one will agree.
