Thinking about getting an electric SUV, what are the best options?

The Kia EV6 or Hyundai Ioniq 5 are both great options. If you need more space, the Kia EV9 offers three rows. The Ford Mustang Mach-E is also a fun drive.

Here’s a list of EVs you might want to check out:

AWD gives you more horsepower and grip, but if you’re worried about getting the range promised by the manufacturer, try asking in the forums dedicated to each model.

After doing a lot of research, I ended up with the 2022 ID.4 AWD Pro. It’s advertised at 255 miles of range, but I’ve managed to get 297 miles once when driving from Yosemite to LA. And I had 18% battery left, so I could have pushed it even more.

I’ve already driven 40k miles in just under 2 years and gone on about 16 road trips with my family. It’s perfect for long drives and, surprisingly, for off-roading too!

One thing I recommend is renting different models for a few weeks. That’ll give you a better idea of the pros and cons of each.
