It is too late for them to do so. They needed to do this five years ago. Tesla’s name is unpopular now, and sales will not be much higher than they are now, especially as Musk has gone all maga and build quality is still seriously poor.

Do you know that cars are not political? They are just inanimate objects. You also ought to know that Tesla is not just Elon. Some cool and smart people made these cars hit pavement not one guy. This generation is so beyond fucked and I can’t imagine what kind of world we are leaving to our kids when we go.
I totally agree with you that cars themselves are not political. But I must admit that Elon Musk is the reason I didn’t buy a Tesla when I got an EV, despite really enjoying my demo drive.
I believe that I am not the only one who avoided buying because of Elon.
You are correct to state that cars are not political. But you and your fellows fail to see that Elon is the face of Tesla. His politics siding has negatively affected how Tesla is viewed by a large portion of America, maybe the world.
This is impressive. It will go well with the upcoming sub-1-second Tesla Roadster. I am just going to order them both at the same time. It is also exciting that it will pay for itself by being a robotaxi at night while I am asleep.
It will no longer be class-leading in charging time and/or range. The new Y won’t be particularly remarkable unless they have something special up their sleeve, but it will still be new and stylish. This is a problem in a market where rivals are stepping it up with 800v architectures.
It will probably look the same and more minimalistic inside because its better that way Tesla does its stuff
It is so childish to think like that and the reason people who drive these cars have to worry about some nut job keying or damaging my car is because they feel some sort of way towards Elon and the fact I drive a Tesla.
Don’t get me wrong because it is a fact that the guy is a disgusting human being, the cyber truck is also the biggest pos ever made. Tesla itself is a flawed company in many ways. I am not defending them but the Model 3 / Y are great cars to expereince.
I believe that Tesla is going to do better on the condition that they oust Elon. Stock will get crushed, but that’s gonna happen anyway.
