A couple of weeks ago, I asked for advice on a local low-mile wind with a tech package for sale. The general advice was to hold out for something better and look outside of my area (the SF Bay area is where I live, and the prices here are crazy). After some research, I ended up with a 2023 GT-LINE AWD, brand new, for about $1k more than what I had been looking at before. Just wanted to thank everyone here for the helpful advice
If this isn’t a made-up story, congrats on getting an amazing deal.

I really hope it’s real too. I was a bit doubtful at first, but someone posted last week about buying another from the same lot. I’ll know for sure when the truck arrives, but for now, I’ve got a contract, a loan, and the app’s connected.
@Afton
Tell your dealer I’ll take one at that price. Seriously, if they have another, I’ll get one for my son.

That’s awesome! They did have another with almost the same specs, but it sold right before I got mine under contract.
@Afton
Would you be willing to send me a redacted copy of your contract? I found a similar 23 on my side, but it’s $10k more. Having your contract would help me talk to my local dealer.

Sure! I’ll send it over this evening.
@Afton
Thanks a lot .

30% off is already a great deal, but 50% off MSRP without leasing is something else .
I would have jumped at that deal without hesitation. Well done.
Wow, I’ve been searching too. If you don’t mind, could you send me a copy of the contract? The dealers near me are still asking a lot for their 23s.

And they will keep asking. It’s up to you to find a dealer who’s willing to move stock.
Nice, no touch-up paint on that one?

Haha, fingers crossed! This is my first fully remote car purchase, so I’m nervous to inspect it when it gets here. But it’s new off the lot, so I’m hopeful. I did a video walkaround with the sales guy, but that’s only as good as his honesty .
@Afton
I did a remote purchase from Ferguson Superstore in Broken Arrow, OK, and it turned out perfect.
Really solid choice. I hope it’s in good shape when it gets delivered and has everything you wanted.
How come no tax? And how many miles does it have?

I still need to pay tax, just not through the dealer since I’m self-registering when it gets to me. The full out-the-door price is $3k more for tax and registration, plus $1,100 for transport. It’s got around 150 miles.
@Afton
Got it, even with tax and transport, that’s still a solid deal! Nice find! You’re going to love it!
I just bought a 2022 GT-Line AWD with 19K miles for $32K out the door (including taxes, tags, handling, etc.). I also got a much better offer for my trade-in than anywhere else. This deal seems pretty good, maybe even comparable.
