My insurance is the same as what we paid for our Jeep.
But if you buy a Tesla and go with their insurance, they track your driving and might raise your rate each month. That’s what many people mention since it’s the most common EV. You can’t even drive after 10 PM without being penalized. If you’re cautious, it shouldn’t be too bad.
Have you considered the electric Mini Cooper? It might be a great fit and quite fun to drive.
