L drive utilization and related issues

I want to buy a 2017 Chevy Bolt, which will be my first electric vehicle. However, I’m not sure if I should always utilize the L drive to regenerate. Is it safe to use constantly, or do greater speeds wear it down more quickly than brakes?

I have been using the L drive mode almost exclusively on my 2017 Bolt. It not only regenerates energy effectively but also simplifies driving in city traffic with one pedal operation. I have noticed no wear or issues from using it consistently.

prefer using the L drive for everyday driving. It is safe to use constantly, and the regenerative braking helps conserve the brake pads, potentially extending their lifespan.

The L mode on my Bolt is fantastic for maximizing range. I have used it at both low and high speeds and it works great. Noticed no increased wear compared to using the traditional brakes.
