Beautiful car! Can’t wait to snag it from the person who posted this next year for $30k.

Maybe they leased it?

Yep, I went with the lease. The residuals they’re giving are better than on the first-gen, about 65% or so.

@Kai
What’s your monthly lease payment? Any upfront costs?

I’m paying $1252 a month for 24 months, no money down. Paid $3.3k at signing for registration and taxes. MSRP was $147k.

@Kai
That’s actually pretty good.

Definitely a steal. I was quoted over $2k locally. Porsche dealers can be ridiculous.

Are you in the US? My dealer suggested doubling the MSRP to estimate the lease, which would be nearly $3k a month for your Taycan.

@Ren
Yes, in the US. Many dealers are terrible. I had to go out of state for a fair deal.

So true. I faced similar issues. Ended up finding a small dealer who treated us right, unlike the local ones trying to markup everything.

That’s a fantastic deal. Congrats!

@Kai
$33k for a two-year lease seems like a lot, but it’s effectively covering the steep initial depreciation.

It’s a good deal. The car will lose about 40% of its value in two years, around $60K. I know what I’m doing.

Considering it’s a lease, you actually got a great deal.

I had a similar situation with a BMW. The lease terms were far more favorable than buying outright.

You might get a big discount, but it won’t be as low as $30k. Even the first gens haven’t dropped that much.
