is there a way to enable the option in the cluster where it shows other vehicles while not in cruise+nav
If you turn on cruise control and then pause it the other cars should still show up.

what is the reason for this limitation? how do you pause it?

Guess is it would rather not have the sensors constantly running. Pause is the same button as the set button (you press the toggle you use for speed adjustment)

Not sure if anyone else responded with this but the other vehicles showing up only occurs when HDA (Highway driving assist) is active and that mode only comes on if you are on an interstate or state highway. Lane change assist is also only available when HDA is active

I’d observe that there’s the vehicle in front indication still available under cruise when HDA is not, but yes, you don’t see the left and right lanes without HDA.
