Charging at home might get expensive. Does the 250 come with a level 2 charger, or do I need to buy one? How much does installation cost?
Not sure if they still offer free chargers. Installation cost depends on your home’s electrical setup. If your panel needs an upgrade, it could get pricey. But there might be tax rebates to help offset the cost.

Thanks for the insight! I’m leaning toward getting the 250, but is there a big difference between the 250 and 350? Should I consider the 350 instead?
I’ve been driving an EQB 250 for 1.5 years and have done 34,000 km. It’s been reliable, and I still love it!
The EQB is basically a GLB with an electric motor. Don’t expect great highway efficiency because the aerodynamics aren’t optimized. If possible, avoid putting money down and aim for a $0 down payment lease. You’ll get about 180 miles of highway range on a full charge, so plan for that.

Got it. So the down payment just shifts to a higher monthly cost, right?
Exactly. A big down payment is risky. If the car gets totaled, you lose that money. Better to keep it in savings and use it for monthly payments instead.
