Yes, it’s working for me too now. Thanks for the update!
I was worried I had messed up my new home charger installation because I wasn’t getting any updates from the app. Turns out it was just the app being down.

Yeah, it seems the whole system was down. Hopefully, it’s back up soon.
Update: The app is working again as of 6:36 PM here in California. Everything seems to be functioning normally now.

Did it start working on its own, or did you have to do something like reinstall the app or reset anything in the car?
@Corey
It started working on its own. I had tried resetting the iDrive system yesterday, but it didn’t help. Then, suddenly after a drive this evening, I noticed the app was showing the current charge, and everything was functioning.
@Blake
Okay, my app is showing up now but it still displays last updated on September 26. Hopefully, whatever fix BMW is implementing reaches everyone soon.
Someone should introduce BMW to modern cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for better availability.
My app has been down since yesterday afternoon too.
It seems we’re all experiencing this outage.
Even the payment site is down.
Yes, my app has been unresponsive for 2 days now.
Same here, it’s been down for 2 days.
It’s working fine for me here in California.

That’s strange, I’m in California too, and it’s not working for me at all.

I disabled software updates earlier this year; not sure if that’s why it’s still working for me.
Was their server located in a flood-prone area on the first floor or something?

You’d be surprised how many large companies have data centers in places like East Tennessee, Southwestern Virginia, and Western North Carolina due to the low energy costs and state tax incentives.
