One of the things I love about owning an EV is being able to use the A/C or heat while parked. It’s great to leave my wife in the car, nice and cool or warm, while I go for a walk.
My question is: Does the iX let me do this easily? I know some EVs automatically shut down when the driver leaves.
The BMW iX doesn’t have a dedicated “camping mode” to keep the climate control running indefinitely while parked and locked. This means the A/C or heat will eventually turn off.
