How often should the 12V battery be charging in an EV6?

Yeah, the stock Kia batteries aren’t great. Mine failed after four months. I switched to an AGM battery and haven’t had any issues since.

If the battery tests fine, it could be the charging system. Either way, if the battery is bad, the dealer should replace it under the 3-year warranty.

That’s helpful to know. Do you think replacing the battery on a lease is okay? I wouldn’t want to mess up any warranty or agreements.

Battery replacements are standard maintenance and shouldn’t affect the lease or warranty. If you’re unsure, have the dealer test and replace it to be safe.
