I saw this today at my neighborhood Penske. A 438 kWh battery pack that has a range of fewer than 220 miles. There was no DC fast charging available at the location, which seems to be a very small use case. The nearest sea port is 220 miles away, however it is mostly intended for local port operations. The battery is located between the daycab and the fifth wheel on a sleeper frame. The massive gap is a major aerodynamics problem.
Is there a problem if it satisfies its intended purpose, however restricted?
