The post goes into a full review and tour of the new electric Mercedes G-Class. It covers everything from its features to how it drives, giving you a chance to experience it virtually. Check it out and share your thoughts on this new EV in the comments .
What really got on my nerves was how they said they wanted one and Alyssa’s reply was that she’d rather have a house or land first. I’m thinking, you guys have so many EVs already. You should’ve had a house or land by now.
I’m happy that the soccer moms in my town can drive these without wasting gas. It’s just ridiculous the way it was before.

Someone has to keep the pumpkin spice industry alive.
I can’t stand how long and annoying Kyle’s reviews are.
Edit: I guess I already broke my New Year’s resolution to be nicer. No judgment if you like his videos though.

Too long and repetitive
@Lane
They really go all in on the long reviews.
@Lane
It’s just the smiling and adjusting hair that gets to me, along with the unnecessary rude comments.

I know we’re just anonymous people online, but tearing someone down for doing well and enjoying what they do doesn’t seem right.

Having a newborn and trying to get chores done is rough. It’s great to use videos like these while bottle feeding at 4 AM. Sleep deprivation is so tough.
@Shiloh
I remember those days. No sleep but lots of memories. Stay strong, and no judgment for watching those long reviews while handling your kid .

I just want him to be 5 so we can play Legos and watch Star Wars. (And toilet training would be great too.)

I can’t make it through the whole video once I see the runtime. So many of them go over an hour. I just want a basic impression, not all the details.
Why does Kyle have to leave Fort Collins? It feels like he belongs there.
Just by looking at it, you can tell the efficiency is pretty low, like under 2 miles per kWh.

Yeah, the gas version only gets about 15 MPG, so it’s not that efficient either.

I bet the people who buy G-Wagons don’t even care about efficiency. They’re not the ones worried about fuel economy.

Nobody buys a G-Wagon for its fuel efficiency. Most EVs are made to be aerodynamic, like the EQ models. The G-Wagon? It’s just a G-Wagon with batteries. People buy it because they have the money and want a status symbol.
@Danielle
Yeah, no one takes a G-Wagon on long road trips, so fuel efficiency really doesn’t matter for most buyers.

The G-Wagon has a gross vehicle weight over 6000 pounds, so Mercedes doesn’t have to count it towards the CAFE MPG standards. It also helps with roof strength regulations since heavier vehicles need less roof strength compared to lighter ones.
