While comments on effective policymaking are welcome in the community, discussions about political parties tend to become divisive. We encourage adhering to our “policy, not politics” rule. More details can be found here: https://thisforum/r/electricvehicles/wiki/rules/politics/
@Terry
They removed the stalks, but put in a cheap LED strip instead. Quite the luxury choice…
Maybe next, they will just eliminate the steering wheel altogether. After all, people could steer using the touchscreen, right?
@Terry
I bet they’ll take out the brake pedal too, leading to true one-pedal driving

Motorcycles don’t have stalks. Perhaps you just need to get used to it

You don’t have a steering wheel on a motorcycle. You don’t turn your handlebars 180 degrees or more. This comparison doesn’t really fit.
Just because you adjust to it doesn’t mean it’s better. The buttons feel cheap, and that’s my main complaint about my Model 3. I’d pay for stalks if they offered them as an add-on
@Mai
Motorcycles also don’t use capacitive buttons, and they don’t place the turn signal buttons where your thumbs naturally rest, only to disable them if you rest your thumbs on them
