I found some free time and stopped at a Tesla charger with a magic dock. I decided to give it a try. Overall, it’s pretty good, even with the charge speeds. Having another option feels great.
Can you share more about the charge speed?

The charge speeds reach up to 96 kilowatts, which isn’t great. The time to go from 0 to 100% is about 50 minutes. If you’re in a rush, it’s not the quickest option. But if you usually charge to full like me, it works fine.
@Xian
So, you used a “V3.5” supercharger, which is basically a 400V V3 but with newer dispensers and longer cables to avoid blocking other stalls.
@Xian
Thanks for the info!
@Xian
Having more options is definitely a plus.

No one is forced to use it. But if you are on 1% battery, it’s great to have any available spot.
@Jaime
What do you mean by that?
In the US, we are a bit behind in charging options, so it’s nice to have choices.

That’s true, but we could use more stations.
@Dell
Exactly. We just need to keep pushing for more infrastructure.
Which adapter do you have? I have the Lectron Vortex but can’t get it to work.

You’re definitely using a magic dock Supercharger. Check the Tesla app for Supercharger locations by selecting the EV6.
Kia EVs won’t have access to NACS Superchargers until early 2025.
@Damian
According to last week’s press release, it’s January 15, 2025.
