Yeah, I think the severity might only call for a touch-up. Professionals might charge a lot for something you could do yourself for much less.

In my opinion, neither of your cars seem that bad. They’re inconspicuous, and add character. If it was more noticeable, it’d be a different story.
I once scratched a rental car in a similar place and they didn’t even notice.
