Brand new scratch on my brand new car

@Shannon
Yeah, I think the severity might only call for a touch-up. Professionals might charge a lot for something you could do yourself for much less.

@Shannon
In my opinion, neither of your cars seem that bad. They’re inconspicuous, and add character. If it was more noticeable, it’d be a different story.

I once scratched a rental car in a similar place and they didn’t even notice.

Interesting… I wonder if my dealer will overlook it too.

Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. It’s always a bit of a gamble!

Contact your dealer’s service department. They often have a mobile repair service that can fix minor issues affordably.

Is that so? That might be the solution I’m looking for.

@Teo
Yes, they can usually match the paint perfectly. It’s a great option for minor repairs.

That sounds perfect. I’ll ask about the bumper repair service. Thanks!

Had the same thing happen today.

Sorry to hear that, I feel your pain.

Next time, try to use the cameras to avoid the curb!

I wish there were cameras on the front left bumper! The sensors didn’t catch it this time.
