Like the title says. It’s not a Certified Pre-Owned, and it has 46k miles on it.
Does any of the warranty transfer? If so, what exactly transfers?
Or am I out of luck and none of it transfers?

Here are the warranties that apply. Keep in mind the countdown starts from when the car was originally sold. For the car you’re talking about, the paint, 12v battery, and infotainment warranties are probably expired:
10-year/100,000-mile Electric Vehicle (EV) System Warranty
5-year/60,000-mile Limited Basic Warranty
5-year/100,000-mile Limited Anti-Perforation Warranty
3-year/36,000-mile Paint Warranty
3-year/36,000-mile Original Equipment Battery Warranty
3-year/36,000-mile Audio / Entertainment Warranty
@Jai
Wow, that entertainment warranty runs out so fast!
@Jai
I had no idea there were so many different warranties. The main thing for me is the EV battery and how long it’s still covered. I’ve got about 2.5 years and 12k miles left, and since I drive about 6k miles a year, it should last me just about the right time.
@Jai
Does anyone know if the same warranty applies to the Ioniq 5? They’re kind of the same cars, right?
@Jai
Can someone explain what a ‘paint warranty’ covers? I’m at 33k miles and have a few small chips from driving.

Usually, warranties cover manufacturing defects, not damage. For example, I had a Grand Cherokee with paint bubbling from underneath the hood, and they replaced it for free. But chips or scratches from road debris wouldn’t be covered.
@Ariel
Nice! That’s a cool placard.
@Ariel
I was told all the warranties get cut in half if you’re the second owner. Has this changed recently?

You might want to stop listening to whoever told you that.
Local dealerships around me have very few options, and they tend to add shady markups. I just want to make sure if something goes wrong, it’s still covered under warranty. It’s frustrating because the dealerships don’t seem to want to give me a clear out-the-door price, which makes me think of going to places like CarMax or Carvana instead.
@West
Yeah, dealerships can be like that. CarMax or Carvana might be better for transparency.
