Looks like these are the first federally-funded ones. Thoughts on how they’re working?
The funding program everyone talks about depends on states releasing the funds for it.

Florida hasn’t used the federal money for EV chargers yet. $198 million is set aside for it, but no grants have been given out to companies for new chargers. Source: Florida Has A Huge EV Market. It's Paying For Other States' Chargers Instead
@Freddie
Florida… classic. Always something holding things up here.

Yep, one of the usual issues with programs like this.
I’m from Wisconsin and super excited about this! Does anyone know the speed of these chargers? It’s not mentioned in the article.

According to the rules, each charging port has to deliver at least 150kW. These stations also have four chargers each. Here’s the detailed info: Federal Register :: National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Standards and Requirements
@Zenith
Thanks for finding that! So each site has 4 chargers and they can handle 150kW. That’s solid.

Some chargers at Kwik Trip stations can handle up to 400kW. You might want to check the Kwik Charge app to find out more.
@Eleanor
What equipment are they using? I don’t think I’ve seen it before.

They’re SK Signets, probably FC200K or DP400K models.

Found the locations on PlugShare:

@Kelley
The reviews on those apps are so bad, it’s kind of funny.

I heard they’re really fast.
Even the ones marked as open still show as ‘Planning Phase’ on this map: Experience. Let’s hope the info gets updated soon.

Cool that these units support both NACS and CCS1.
@Kelley
Kind of sad that so many chargers are still only at dealerships.
Almost forgot about NEVI funding. Even Oregon hasn’t built anything yet, and it’s supposed to be EV-friendly.

There’s hope. Check this link: Oregon Department of Transportation : National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program in Oregon : Climate Office : State of Oregon.
@Elliot
Other states already have working sites. Oregon hasn’t even finished the first round of contracts.
