I received a call from Kia to arrange regular maintenance, I bought the car in May and it has 3.5k miles on it. The tag on the windshield states that the first maintenance is due in 12k or February 2025.
What kind of regular maintenance is expected? Since I am far from 12,000 that might take me nearly a year.
Should I wait or make an appointment right away?
It “can charge at 11kw” for the car. If, on the other hand, yours is similar to mine, it will overheat the onboard charger, throttle to 7 kW, overheat that, and continue to throttle you until it stops overheating. I went to the dealer with mine. Additionally, they updated the software, which increased the aggressiveness of the throttling. Additionally, the 32 amp maximum sticker on the charger door has been replaced. It is 7.4 kw in the USA.
