2024 BMW iX xDrive50 not charging at full amps

I recently got a new BMW iX and noticed that it’s not reaching the maximum charging speeds. Although it’s capable of 11 kWh, the best I can get is 9.5 kWh using a ChargePoint Level 2 charger at 48 amps (with a 60 amp breaker). Even when I charge at work with a 32 amp ChargePoint charger, I only get about 5.5 kWh. My Chevy Bolt, using the same 32 amp charger at work, gets 6.4 kWh.

It seems like BMW is somehow slowing down the charge. Has anyone else experienced this? (For reference, my BMW is set to pull the maximum 48 amps, and I have tried charging when the battery is low).

I discovered that my maximum charging speed was set in the app, not in the car, and for some reason, they did not match. I had the same issue. It charged correctly after I made that adjustment.
I don’t have the app anymore because I have a Rivian, but try looking for it there.

I have the same setup. ChargePoint home charger on 60 amp breaker for my 2023 iX. Every night I’ve consistently pulled exactly 10.86kwh from the Chargepoint. You should be getting close to the same.
