Hello everyone,
I’m a new owner of a 2020 Kia Niro EV, and after talking to the UVO consultant, it seems the car might not have received a software update yet. I initially thought I needed a Navigation update, but it looks like I might need a Display Audio update instead.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation with their Kia Niro EV? Could you provide some guidance on how to check for and apply the correct software update? I want to make sure everything is up-to-date and running smoothly.
Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences you can share
To ensure your 2020 Kia Niro EV is up-to-date, start by checking for software updates through the Kia owner’s website or the UVO app, where you can often find available updates for Display Audio or Navigation. If an update is needed, you can download it to a USB drive from the Kia website and then install it by inserting the USB into your car’s port and following the on-screen instructions. Alternatively, contacting your Kia dealership for assistance is a good option if you’re unsure about the process. Keeping your vehicle’s software updated will help ensure everything runs smoothly.
